Restaurant recommendations in Frankfurt
The new game changer venue “Krazy Kraken” was completely furnished in the glamorous Maison Blanche style. Wherever the eye wanders, you can only see glossy white surfaces, bright, bright furniture and reflective chrome mirrors. A radical design language that has never been implemented so consistently in Germany. And since such a spectacular stage also needs its adequate protagonists, our entire service team is wrapped in crisp white steward jackets with golden epaulettes. Lovers of such grandiose concepts as the legendary Estiatorios Milos, the Gaia or the wonderful La Serre will surely be enthusiastic about the Krazy Kraken. The Krazy Kraken is clearly positioning itself as a seafood restaurant. Accordingly, the focus is on seafood, caviar and fish. However, we are not interested in a gourmet kitchen that is chiselled into small pieces, but rather in absolute freshness and product quality. The menu consists of a changing best of international seafood and fish classics. Fans of light and wholesome seafood cuisine can look forward to dishes such as ceviche, sole miller, poke and octopus carpaccio. But ambitious food porn enthusiasts will also get their money’s worth. For example, there is also a hearty lobster mac`n cheese or hearty Hamburg pan fish on the Krazy Kraken menu. And don’t worry, even for people with a total dislike of anything that comes from the sea, we offer a few attractive alternatives. Finally, one more thing: Of course, we make sure that our fish and seafood come from sustainable fisheries and reputable aquacultures.

Surf n Turf Steakhouse
When we opened M-Steakhouse and Surf ‘n Turf over twenty years ago, steaks had to be lean and cheap. South American gaucho qualities were considered the ultimate in beef back then. US prime steaks, on the other hand, were still practically unknown. Only when the Mook Group opened the first upscale steakhouses based on the American model in Germany did that change radically. The Mook steakhouses astonished their guests not only with completely new beef qualities, but also with still completely unknown steakhouse cuts, such as the porterhouse. The guests were not only spoiled with culinary delights, they were also informed about all facets of steakhouse culture with the help of the Mook Beefologys – a regularly published folding magazine. For the first time, interested guests learned something about the fascinating chemistry of Rigor Mortis, the Maillard reaction and the various methods of meat affinage. A rethink quickly set in and more and more people began to be interested in ethically produced high-quality meat from the USA. Accordingly, the Mook steakhouses quickly developed into real insider tips and the restaurants were soon bursting at the seams every day. Amazingly, despite the gigantic success, it took almost 10 years until the first free riders began to seriously deal with the topic of upscale steakhouses. In the meantime, however, the Mook Group has unleashed a real trend through its tireless commitment and new spin-offs open their doors almost every week. But we were able to defend our pole position without any problems over the years thanks to our lead, passion and an authentic atmosphere. However, our claim was never less than THE steakhouse in Germany. Also there will only ever be one original – the original!
